Jay-Z stopped by this year's Oxegen festival on Friday and of course yours truly was there to join in the festivities. I had spent the week with the tour party and of course my man Memphis Bleek. (who is still smokin that la la lah btw)
I've known Bleek for 4 years now and we have worked closely together on couple of projects, we first met on the Water For Life tour in 2006 and have been working ever since when the situation presents itself.
We had a ball in Dublin during the week, saw all the sites and stopped by RTE to my DJ Mo-K's show and on Friday he asked me along to the Jay-Z performance. I was lucky enough to ride on the tour bus and get all access pass and I stood right on the stage. The show was incredible and being such an unashamed Jay-Z stan myself it was a moment to savor for sure.
After the Jay tore down the stage, we went back to Dublin where Bleek did an impromptu appearance at Base Bar and shut down the night with his club anthem "It's Like That" and after a long ass week managed to catch something to eat with Young Guru and Bridget Kelly from RocNation (who is 1/2 Irish btw)
The wheels are in motion for a Get Low Tour featuring Me & Bleek so keep the eyes and ears open
